PayPal
Posted By: John `Junkman` Geffe - Aug 13, 2012 21:07:39
I am getting a few complaints that the Link back from PayPal is not working 100% of the time. This means you will need to contact the race organizer to get marked as paid. If this happens, please send me an email, I would like to know more about your configuration (browser etc) and try to replicate the issue.
Thanks

webhost
Posted By: John `Junkman` Geffe - Feb 2, 2012 19:27:02
I will be moving the website to a new internet service provider later this month (after the Cabin Fever race).
To prevent any sign up disruption, I will be disabling the ability for race directors to setup new events.
I will also be evaluating new methods to pay for the web hosting (it has been very low cost up until now).
Thanks

The move was 99% successful. However the "Events" page has suffered. The flash module works, but since the host is PHP5 and not PHP4, the domxml doc stuff is broken.
Time to rewrite the event calendar withYUI Calendar.
Hopefully this does not take very long. I have re-enabled the New Event Setup links. email me, if you have any issues.
Thanks

Date setup for new event
Posted By: John `Junkman` Geffe - Apr 4, 2010 19:04:25
The date picker component I have chosen does not seem to work with the current dates in 2010. So I will have to come up with a replacement pretty quick. I am working on it.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Showing only paid entries.
Posted By: John `Junkman` Geffe - Apr 23, 2009 08:47:42
I have added the "Dude" option ;-)
There is now a new option for each event setup where you can optionally choose to only show the entries that are marked paid.
I have not filtered this down to the manually added (paper) entries yet (the "Corey" option).

Performance Issues
Posted By: John `Junkman` Geffe - Jan 20, 2009 09:24:37
Recently the SQL server has become very slow with some queries, specificly the signup status page where there is a lot of joins from mulitple tables. The main table has almost 7000 entries in it and I believe is causing most of the grief. I am working on archiving most of the older events, my target is to remove signup data that is older then 60 days, which should help. It's going to take a few days, so please be patient.
Thanks
